In the "Halo" video game series, Pelicans are a series of drop ships piloted by the UNSC marines. Players of the PC version of "Halo: Combat Evolved," commonly called "Halo 1," may access a Pelican through a free downloadable mod. More modern games are not just base of entertainment, instead these will need some ability to play and win. The computer developed enemies fight against the players and eliminating them is a big deal. The gaming companies offer games cheat parts to the players so that they may thrash the terrifying enemies. These cheats are generally the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These allow the gamers in progressing to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are accessible with all kinds of games. However, it is advised not to use them very frequently usually one can loose the excitement just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software factors problems in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers on their own supply the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next stages of the game. Not every person will recognize that games cheat systems are the right things to be used while playing games. They consider cheating as a nasty trait and therefore cheat codes should not be used. However, these become very helpful when the gamer is not receiving any idea how to go in advance while playing game. For example, one wants to jump up to other levels without filling out previous ones. The cheats grow to be useful in this case as the players do not get annoyed. Such mods, being player made and unsupported by Microsoft, can sometimes be unstable and lead to game play problems. Since players were never intended to fly the Pelican vehicles, they may do so only through such a custom mod.

Download a mod called "Halo: Combat Evolved Custom Edition." This is a free, very large download made by "Halo" players. You can find the download on the CNET Downloads site.
2Create a separate folder for "Halo: Combat Evolved Custom Edition." Install the program in this folder so that it doesn't interfere with the official game. You will need a "Halo" installation key to install the program.
3Download a "Custom Edition" map called "Hugeass," easily found through an Internet search. This is a large, player-made map with a pair of bases that house several vehicles. The resultant download should be in a ZIP file.
4Open the ZIP file. Look for a file called hugeass.map.
5Open the "Maps" folder within the "Halo: Combat Evolved Custom Edition" folder. Drag the hugeass.map file into this folder.
6Begin playing "Halo: Combat Evolved Custom Edition." Begin a multiplayer game and select the map file. Select the game type.
7Start the game. You will be in one of the hangers within the map. Find the Pelican ship and climb through the back. At the pilot's seat, press the "E" key to begin flying the ship.
