The Action Replay Max is a cheat device used to modify games for the Nintendo GameCube. The device allows codes to be entered to modify game play. The Action Replay Max comes preloaded with codes for a wide range of different games. Games or codes released after the Action Replay Max need to be manually entered to work. Manually entered codes are saved to the Action Replay Max and do not need to be re-entered in future game sessions. The codes can be selected off the code list like preloaded cheats. More modern games are not mere source of entertainment, relatively these demand some knowledge to play and win. The computer produced enemies fight against the players and eliminating them is a big deal. The gaming companies produce games cheat systems to the players so that they might thrash the harmful enemies. These cheats are quite simply the codes that are used for offering a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These facilitate the gamers in growing to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are attainable with all genres of games. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not getting any hint how to go ahead while playing game. For instance, one wants to jump up to other levels without finishing previous ones. The cheats turn into effective in this case as the players do not get irritated.
Instructions

Insert the Action Replay Max disc into the GameCube. Insert the memory card into memory slot B of the controller connected to player 1.
2Turn on the GameCube. The Action Replay main menu will appear.
3Select Action Replay Codes from the menu.
4Select the region the game was released in. For example, games released in the United States or Canada would be American.
5Select the title of the game from the list that appears. If the game title does not appear, select the Add New Game option from the top of the game list and enter the game title. The code select menu will appear in either case.
6Select Add New Cheat from the top of the code list.
7Enter the Action Replay code into the prompt. A keyboard will appear on the screen. Use the direction buttons to move the cursor around the screen. Press the A button to select a letter. The X button will delete the last character entered. Select the "Done" button on the keyboard when you finish entering the code.
8Enter a description of the function of the code into the prompt. This will be the entry that appears in the code menu when you want to enable the code. The same keyboard used to enter the code will appear for this step.
