Cheat Engine is a software designed to change game values while a game is running on your computer. Game values can represent the amount of money, the amount of life or energy that a player has on the game. Cheat Engine allows you to find a value in the memory and change it to the value you desire. Because the values are stored in memory, you will have to find the memory address where the value is stored before modifying it. The latest games are not just base of entertainment, quite these need some knowledge to play and win. The computer produced enemies fight against the gamers and defeating them is a big deal. The gaming companies produce games cheat systems to the players so that they could thrash the threatening enemies. These cheats are generally the codes that are used for giving a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These facilitate the gamers in accelerating to the next stage by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are available with all kinds of games. However, it is advised not to use them very quite often or else one can loose the pleasure once playing for sometime. These can be used when a software factors concerns in computer or freezes it. In some conditions, the developers themselves supply the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next grades of the game. Not every individual will agree that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They consider cheating as a nasty trait and therefore cheat codes should not be used. However, these become very helpful when the gamer is not having any vision how to go forward while playing game. For illustration, one wants to jump up to other levels without filling out previous ones. The cheats grow to be valuable in this condition as the players do not get irritated.
Instructions

Launch the game you want to use the Cheat Engine on. Start a new game or load a previously saved game.
2Pause the game and write down the value of the game element you want to change. For instance, if you want to change the amount of gold you have, write down that number.
3Press the "Alt" + "Tab" keys to switch back to Windows.
4Go to the "Start" menu and click on the "Cheat Engine" icon to launch the program.
5Click on the flashing computer icon on the top left of the Cheat Engine window.
6Select the name of your game in the list and select "Open".
7Enter the value you wrote down in the "Value" field and press "First Scan".
8Click on your game icon in your Windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen to switch back to your game.
9Un-pause the game and change the value of the element you want to change. For example, you may lose or gain some life, get more money or more energy. Pause the game and write down the new value.
10Press the "Alt" + "Tab" keys to switch back to Windows.
11Enter the new value in the "Value" field of Cheat Engine and press "Next Scan".
12Double-click on the value in the left pane if there is only one. If there is more than one value, complete step 8 to 10 again until there is only one value remaining.
13Double-click on the "Value" number on the bottom pane. Enter how much money or energy you desire and press "OK".
14Click on your game icon in your Windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen to switch back to your game and get the amount of money or energy you entered.
