How to Use GTA SA Mod Installer

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" is a video game by Rockstar Games available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. While popular on gaming consoles, only the PC version can use the "GTA SA Mod Installer, nicknamed "SAMI." Mods, short for modifications, allow players to alter certain aspects of the game, such as different cars, character models and gameplay. Using the SAMI requires that the player also download a specific mod to open using the installer.

Instructions

Download the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Mod Installer," also known as "SAMI." SAMI is available on numerous download and game modification sites. Install the program once it has been downloaded.

Download a "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" mod. This can be any mod applicable to the PC game.

Open SAMI and select "Install a Mod." In the first text box select the location of the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" game. In the second text box click either "ZIP or RAR file" or "Folder," depending on what type of file the mod is. Click browse to locate the mod file.

Click "continue" once the mod is done loading.

Assign a name to the backup file in case something goes wrong with the mod. This is only needed if the "Backup Files Before Installation" option is enabled on the file browser screen. Up-to-date games are not mere reference of entertainment, instead these need some skills to play and win. The computer produced opponents fight against the players and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies produce games cheat methods to the players so that they may thrash the threatening enemies. These cheats are essentially the codes that are used for allowing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These allow the gamers in advancing to the next stage by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are available with all types of games. Nevertheless, it is advised not to use them very quite often otherwise one can loose the enjoyment just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software will cause problems in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers themselves deliver the codes so that the players could be launched to the next levels of the game. Not every individual will agree that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They look at cheating as a terrible trait and therefore cheat codes should not be used. However, these turn into very helpful when the gamer is not getting any vision how to go in advance while playing game. For illustration, one wants to jump up to other stages without completing previous ones. The cheats come to be effective in this situation as the players do not get frustrated. Click the "Install" button once the backup name has been entered.

Press "Exit" to close the installer or "Play San Andreas" to begin the game with the mod installed.
