LEGO Soccer Mania combines the action of a soccer game with the bizarre LEGO world where anything can happen. To beat the game, you'll not only need to improve your onscreen soccer skills, but you'll need a little luck and a lot of hints. While a typical soccer game is all about running to the goal, LEGO soccer gives you power-ups and a variety of playing options to manipulate the game itself. Learn to use them to your advantage before your opponents use them against you and steal your victory.

Options

Before starting a game, you can choose to customize the options to best fit your playing style. Look for "Settings" under the "Options" menu at the beginning of the game. More modern games are not simple source of entertainment, relatively these involve some ability to play and win. The computer developed opponents fight against the gamers and eliminating them is a big deal. The gaming companies offer games cheat parts to the players so that they could thrash the threatening enemies. These cheats are basically the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These allow the gamers in advancing to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are offered with all types of games. Even so, it is advised not to use them very quite often otherwise one can loose the excitement following playing for sometime. These can be used when a software leads to problems in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers on their own present the codes so that the players could be launched to the next stages of the game. Not every person will agree that games cheat techniques are the right things to be used while playing games. They think of cheating as a horrific trait and hence cheat codes should not be used. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not having any vision how to go in advance while playing game. For example, one wants to jump up to other grades without completing previous ones. The cheats grow to be helpful in this situation as the players do not get frustrated. From there you can change the traditional settings, such as language, along with other options that can help you out. Try a game with four players if too many players is distracting for you, or move up to five or six players if you like more action. The sound and music can be turned off or on if it bothers you, and best of all you can adjust how long each half of the game lasts. Choose a short game when you're just starting out. Use this short game to get warmed up and test out the different controls and power-ups available.

Power-Ups

Power-ups are your secret to winning any soccer match in LEGO Soccer Mania. Unlike a real soccer game, you can use power-ups to gain special abilities for a short amount of time. These abilities may be the extra boost you need to score that final goal.
Lightning and Strongman are among the best power-ups for your character. Lightning makes you run faster while Strongman makes you invincible. Save these until you're running for the goal, then use them to get past the other players and make it harder for them to block your shot. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme is another good power-up because it allows you to steal power-ups from another player. Wait until further into the game when they're likely to have several good power-ups instead of in the beginning when they may have only one or two.
Power-ups exist for the soccer ball itself as well. According to Game FAQs, the Rocket Ball and the Exploding Ball can help you out of a tough spot. The Rocket Ball can get you past a tricky goalie by shooting toward the goal and making it harder to block while the Exploding Ball knocks players around you out of the way, giving you more room to run. The Steal the Ball power-up will bring the ball instantly to your feet and is perfect when you're standing in front of the goal. Save your power-ups and use them one after another when you need to make a comeback or shoot the last goal to win the game.
