Street Football Tricks

"NFL Street" is a fast-paced, arcade-style football game for the Sony PlayStation 2 video game console. "NFL Street" introduces game-play similar to the long-running video game series, "NFL Blitz." In "NFL Street," the player controls an NFL team made up seven players and plays against opponents in various urban locations. In NFL Street there are hints and tips, as well as a number of lavish tricks and maneuvers that can be achieved by pressing a series of buttons on the control pad.

Beyond the basic offensive and defensive controls found in "NFL Street," there are a many advanced controls or "Stylin' Moves" that can be achieved by pressing a certain button combination on the Playstation 2 game controller.

Perform the "Get Your Pitch On" maneuver by pressing and holding down the "L1" button on the controller.

Perform the "Stylin' Pitch" maneuver by pressing and holding down the "L1" and "L2" buttons and then pressing "Triangle" on the controller.

Perform the "Stylin' Hurdle or Dive" maneuver by pressing and holding down the "L1" and "L2" buttons and then pressing "Square" on the controller.

Perform the "Stylin' Juke or Spin" maneuver by pressing and holding down the "L1" and "L2" buttons and then pressing "Circle" on the controller.

Perform the "Stylin' Pass" maneuver by pressing and holding down the "L1" and "L2" buttons and then pressing "X" or "Square" or "Circle" on the controller.

Perform the "Signature Style Moves" by pressing "L2" and either "Right Analog Stick" or "Square" or "Circle" at the same time.

In "NFL Street," the player has the ability to change plays and call audibles on offense, while at the line of scrimmage.

Call an audible by pressing "L1" on the control pad before the play begins.
Make the running back block then release by pressing "Right" on the directional pad.

Make all receivers run streak patterns by pressing "Up" or "Down" on the directional pad.

Make the quarterback scramble by pressing "Down" on the directional pad.

Cancel the called audible by pressing "Triangle" on the game controller.

In "NFL Street," the player has the ability to change plays and call audibles on defense, while at the line of scrimmage.

Call an audible by pressing "L1" on the control pad before the play begins.
Make the secondary and linebacker players play zone defense by pressing "Up" on the directional pad.

Make the linebackers blitz the quarterbacks by pressing "Down" on the directional pad.

Call for man defense with two deep coverage by pressing "Right" or "Left" on the directional pad.

Cancel the called audible by pressing "Triangle" on the game controller.
