"Halo: Custom Edition" is a multiplayer add-on for the PC version of Halo. The game is free-standing, meaning you don't need the original Halo installed in order to play. However, you will need a retail CD key from Halo: PC. The Custom Edition allows modders to create their own content, including new maps.
Activating Cheats
In order to activate cheats in "Halo: Custom Edition," open the Properties window and type "-console -devmode" after the target. Make sure there is a space between the target and "-console" and between "-console" and "-devmode."
Note: You cannot play online when in devmode.
Some cheats, denoted by an asterisk (*) below, can be toggled during gameplay. Pressing 1 will toggle the cheat on and pressing 0 will toggle it off.
Weapons
"Cheat_all_weapons" will spawn all of the game's weapons at once
"Cheat_bottomless_clip"* will give you a bottomless clip, meaning no reloading or overheating.
"Cheat_infinite_ammo"* will give you unlimited ammunition, though weapons can still overheat.
With "cheat_medusa,"* any enemy will be killed instantly when he sees the player.
Vehicles and Items
"Cheat_all_vehicles" will spawn all standard vehicles.
"Cheat_spawn_warthog" will spawn a warthog.
"Cheat_all_powerups" will spawn all powerups.
General Gameplay and Movement
"Cheat_bump_possession"* will allow you to take control of any character by bumping into him.
"Cheat_deathless_player"* will make you invincible, even to falls from the highest points in the game.
"Cheat_super_jump"* allows you to jump considerably higher than normal, for easier maneuvering through some maps.
"Cheat_teleport_to_camera" will teleport you to the current camera position, allowing escape from hairy situations.
Use the cheat "game_speed"* to change the game speed on a scale from 1 to 20. The latest games are not mere reference of entertainment, rather these demand some ability to play and win. Load any level using the command "map_name [type map name]."
The command "cls" will clear the console screen that pops up in devmode.

Use the command "debug_objects"* to see a visual outline of objects or models bounding radii or collision models.
"Debug_portals"* will draw an outline around all portals in the game.
"Debug_sound"* allows you to "see" sounds and their audible radii.
