Xbox Action Replay Instructions

The Action Replay is a combination of software and hardware that allows you to use cheats and pre-loaded save files with your gaming system. In addition to the cheats and saves available on the card, the Action Replay allows you to find saves and cheats online via Code Junkies, the official website for the Action Replay. There have been releases for the Action Replay on several systems, but they are not compatible with one another. The latest games are not simple source of entertainment, relatively these will need some knowledge to play and win. The computer developed opponents fight against the gamers and defeating them is a big deal. The gaming companies provide games cheat parts to the players so that they might thrash the violent enemies. These cheats are generally the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These facilitate the gamers in accelerating to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are available with all genres of games. Even so, it is advised not to use them very frequently otherwise one can loose the excitement just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software will cause issues in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers on their own deliver the codes so that the players could be released to the next grades of the game. Not every individual will acknowledge that games cheat systems are the right things to be used while playing games. They consider cheating as a nasty trait and therefore cheat codes should not be used. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not receiving any clue how to go onward while playing game. For example, one wants to jump up to other levels without completing previous ones. The cheats become helpful in this condition as the players do not get frustrated. Action Replay for the Xbox uses a special memory card to transfer to cheats or modded files from your computer to your Xbox.

Instructions

Install the Action Replay software on your computer using the installation disc included in the package. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation of the Action Replay program. The software should work with all current versions of Microsoft Windows.

Plug the USB dongle for the Action Replay memory card into a spare USB port on your computer. Once the dongle is secure, insert the Action Replay memory card face up into the dongle.

Install any drivers, if prompted to do so; the necessary drivers will be on the same CD as the Action Replay software.

Start the Action Replay program. The program displays three windows: one for files on your PC, one for the contents of the Action Replay card, and one that accesses the Code Junkies website. The Code Junkies section has two buttons that you can select to find save files: "Powersaves," which are created by professional developers, and "Community," which links to user-uploaded saves.

Use the drag-and-drop interface to move files easily between the memory card, your PC, and even from the Code Junkies section. This allows you to not only download new save files from the Internet to use on your Xbox system, but also to use your computer as a backup for your Xbox save files.

Close the Action Replay program when you're ready to move files to your Xbox. Once the program is closed, you should be able to remove the memory card without issues.

Insert the Action Replay card into one of the memory card slots in your Xbox controller; you will need to have a regular memory card in the other slot.

Go to the Xbox dashboard to access your memory cards, and copy the save files from your Action Replay card to your regular memory card. Once the copy is complete, you should be able to open the new save files within your game.
