How to Link a Pokemon Game on No$GBA

No$GBA, pronounced "No cash Gameboy," is a Gameboy Advanced emulator that allows you to emulate GBA games on your PC or Mac. Among the games available for this emulator are the Pokemon series. The original releases of these games allowed players to link up their Gameboys and trade monsters over a local connection. Although you cannot connect to another player's game directly with No$GBA, it does allow you to open up a second game image and trade virtually using a single computer.

Instructions

    1

Open the No$GBA program on your computer. Up-to-date games are not simply reference of entertainment, rather these will need some capabilities to play and win. The computer generated enemies fight against the gamers and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies offer games cheat methods to the players so that they could thrash the threatening enemies. These cheats are essentially the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These help the gamers in moving on to the next phase by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are available with all kinds of games. Nonetheless, it is advised not to use them very quite often otherwise one can loose the excitement just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software leads to issues in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers themselves present the codes so that the players could be unveiled to the next grades of the game. Not every individual will recognize that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They look at cheating as a terrible trait and consequently cheat codes should not be used. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not having any hint how to go in advance while playing game. For case, one wants to jump up to other grades without completing previous ones. The cheats become valuable in this case as the players do not get annoyed. Check for updates to ensure you have the most recent version running on your operating system. Download the ROMs for the Pokemon games you want to link together. Make sure the versions of the games you download are compatible with the game link (Red and Blue versions, Silver and Gold versions, etc.). Two games that are not compatible with each other over a physical GBA link cannot be linked together with the No$GBA emulator.

    2

Go to "File" and click on "Game Cartridge 1." Choose "Browse" when prompted to enter the game's directory, find the first Pokemon game and click "Open." Pause the game.

    3

Click "File" and choose "Game Cartridge 2." Start the second Pokemon game by clicking the "Browse" button, finding the game file and clicking "Open." The second Pokemon game will pop up in a new window. Click "File" on either No$GBA screen and choose the "Link Games" option. Continue as if you had two Gameboy consoles connected with a physical link.
