The Action Replay Max is a device that allows you to modify GameCube games with cheat codes to alter how they are played. Some codes are used to give you an advantage to make games easier to beat, while others are just to see unusual effects in game play. It is possible, however, to run into problems when using the Action Replay. Fortunately, there are some simple solutions to these glitches.

Unplug the Action Replay card from the GameCube's "B" memory slot if the "Hardware Not Detected" message displays. Reinsert the card and try to boot up Action Replay again. If that does not help, look up the code on codejunkies.com, which is the only site Action Replay guarantees has the correct codes. If the code is not listed there, it does not exist for the game.
