"Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain" Cheats

You can choose from several WWE wrestlers and play through a variety of modes in "WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain" for the PlayStation 2. This 2003 title includes a variety of cheats that can help you win matches and improve your fighter's abilities. Most of the game's cheats involve taking advantage of glitches.

You can win backstage matches easily by using a cheat in the parking lot. Beat your opponent up near the WWE truck towards the right of this section. Your foe will jump onto the truck to escape your pummeling, but there's no easy way down. He must fall off the truck to return to the match, and this will damage him greatly. Repeat this process to weaken your opponent, making him easy to pin.

While fighting in "Hardcore" mode, you'll encounter a corridor containing a cage. Climb on top of it and break the panels. Stand to the right of the hole you created and watch as your foe falls into the pit. Repeat this process to continually weaken your foe so you can pin him with ease.

Level up your fighters easily by going to the weight room to run on the treadmill. Press the "Square" button to start up the treadmill. Rapidly press the "X" button and your wrestler will run on the treadmill, filling his special meter. Keep running to fill all of your fighter's special powers, and then press "Square" to leave the treadmill.

Head to the "Smackdown" store and purchase the alternate outfit for Eric Bischoff. Enter "Exhibition" mode and fight in a "First Blood" match. Use Bischoff and the new outfit. You won't bleed during the match, guaranteeing a victory.

Don't turn off the PlayStation 2 after you beat the game. Instead, watch all of the credits. After they finish, a video will play that shows John Cena rapping about this title.
