When playing the original Game Boy RPG-style video game "Pokemon" on your Visual Boy Advance, there are several cheats you can access in both the "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue" variations of the game. These not only make easier certain challenges in the game, but also replicate rare items for the player.

Infinite Items

Rearrange the items in your inventory so that the item you want to replicate is in the sixth slot, preferably a rare item like the Master Ball. Travel to Viridian City and talk to the old man. Tell him you're not in a hurry, and then travel to Cinnabar Island. Use your "Surf" ability to travel along the coast of the island until you encounter either a Pokemon called "Missingno" or a regular Pokemon with a level greater than 100. Run away immediately, and you will have 99 of whatever item is in your sixth slot. You can do this as many times as you want to any item.

Pokemon Tower: Easily Defeat Ghost Marowak

Typically, defeating the ghost Marowak requires possession of the Silph Scope, which you find at the Team Rocket headquarters. However, you can quickly end the battle if you use the Poke Doll on Marowak. This causes you to escape from Marowak but also beating him in the process.

Safari Zone: Easily Catch Pokemon

Normally in "Pokemon" you'd need to use Safari Balls to catch Pokemon located in the Safari Zone. Modern games are not simply base of entertainment, alternatively these will need some abilities to play and win. The computer generated enemies fight against the players and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies supply games cheat methods to the players so that they may thrash the violent enemies. These cheats are essentially the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These allow the gamers in moving on to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are available with all genres of games. However, it is advised not to use them very often usually one can loose the enjoyment after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software factors concerns in computer or freezes it. In some scenarios, the developers themselves supply the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next levels of the game. Not every individual will acknowledge that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They look at cheating as a horrific trait and hence cheat codes should not be used. However, these become very helpful when the gamer is not getting any vision how to go ahead while playing game. For example, one wants to jump up to other stages without filling out previous ones. The cheats grow to be valuable in this scenario as the players do not get irritated. Walk around the Safari Zone until you come across a Pokemon you want to catch. Run away from the battle and use one of your abilities such as "Fly" or "Teleport" to leave the area. Using your repel ability to prevent random encounters, travel to the Seafoam Islands and use "Surf" to go up and down the island's east coast until you get into a Pokemon battle. The battle should be with whatever Safari Zone Pokemon you last encountered.
