"Dead Rising" Overtime Mode Cheats

"Dead Rising" is a zombie survival game where you can use a variety of makeshift weapons to defend yourself against the undead masses. Once you have finished the main story of the game and the timer has run down, you can enter Overtime Mode. The protagonist, Frank, becomes infected and you have to collect a series of items and complete two boss battles to survive and escape the precinct. There are a few tricks and cheats that can help you survive.

The supplies you need to collect will appear on your map with a question mark symbol. It is easy to run from one side of the mall to the other and waste valuable time. Instead, work counterclockwise around the edge of the map to pick them up quickly. Collect the First Aid Kit, Magnifying Glass, Blender, Perfume Bottle, Camp Stove, Developing Solution, Cold Spray and Coffee Filters in that order to minimize the amount of time you spend on this task.

Make plenty of Nectar Smoothies by mixing OJ and OJ at Colombian Roastmasters in Paradise Plaza. This will make the queen bees move toward you when you kill a zombie host, making them much easier to collect. Run between the North and Wonderland plazas and look out for zombies flailing their arms above their head. These will host the queen bees. Simply pick them off one by one until you have collected all 10 that you require.

Before you can make your escape, you have to pass through a tunnel containing hundreds of zombies. The trick is to use the potion and to hold hands with Isabella at all times. If you move away from Isabella, the zombies will attack you. During the last portion of the tunnel as the potion begins to wear off, pick Isabella up and run to the end of the tunnel.

This battle can be tricky. However, to make it easier turn up the volume. This will let you hear the sensor alarm that warns you that the tank is about to fire at you. To stop the tank from firing at you ,shoot the small igloo-shaped object on the top of the tank. As the battle progresses, shoot down the small helicopters while continuing to shoot the sensor before the tank has a chance to shoot at you.

Pause the game immediately before this battle and review the combat moves you have learned throughout the game. If you have learned the spinning fists move, where you spin in a circle and spin your fists at the same time then use it to make easy work of the game's final boss.
