How to Configure Cheat Engine for RF Online

Cheat Engine is an open source tool used to modify game settings to alter difficulty levels. Although intended for use with single-player games, Cheat Engine is also capable of modifying RF Online. You can alter your weapon to fire in bursts, change items so they can be used at lower levels, and even use more than one character at a time. Below you'll find information on how to configure Cheat Engine and two cheats to get you started. Innovative games are not just source of entertainment, instead these demand some skills to play and win. The computer generated opponents fight against the players and overcoming them is a big deal. The gaming companies produce games cheat systems to the players so that they might thrash the terrifying enemies. These cheats are essentially the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These allow the gamers in moving on to the next stage by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are offered with all kinds of games. Nevertheless, it is advised not to use them very often or else one can loose the enjoyment once playing for sometime. These can be used when a software reasons problems in computer or freezes it. In some cases, the developers themselves supply the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next stages of the game. Not every person will acknowledge that games cheat techniques are the right things to be used while playing games. They consider cheating as a horrific trait and consequently cheat codes should not be used. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not having any idea how to go onward while playing game. For illustration, one wants to jump up to other grades without finishing previous ones. The cheats come to be useful in this condition as the players do not get annoyed.

Instructions

Download and install Cheat Engine.

Disable any anti-virus programs before running Cheat Engine; some of these programs may interfere with Cheat Engine's operations.

Run Cheat Engine and click the computer button in the upper left corner of Cheat Engine's interface. You'll see a list of games on your computer which Cheat Engine can access.

Scroll down to and select RF_Online.bin. The words no process selected, which appear to the right of the computer button, should change to a series of numbers followed by RF_Online.bin.

Use this cheat if you want to make high-level items available to low-level characters and begin by giving the item whose levels you want to change to the character you plan on having equip them. Also, ensure that RF_Online.bin is selected.

Set the value type to Text and enter the name of your weapon or armor, into the box labeled Value.

Press the Next Scan button until the result XX 03 FF XX FF appears; note that the XX values will actually be numbers representing level and PT requirements, respectively.

Change the XX values to reflect the levels at which you want your character to be able to use the item. Changing both XX values to 01, for instance, would allow you to use the item at a level and PT of one. (see references 2)

Use this cheat to greatly increase your weapon's rate of fire. Begin by ensuring that RF_Online.bin is selected.

Set value type to Text and search for your weapon.

Scan until you find the value A8 08 and replace it with the value 00 00.

Find for your character by searching for the character's name, making sure that value type is still set to Text.

Change value type to Bytes and add the values 80 and 3F before 128 and 63, respectively. (see references 3)
