Released in 2005, Konamis Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist video game for the Game Boy Advance personal game console is the European version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 game released in North America. Regardless of which version you are playing, the same cheat codes and unlock procedures apply for getting the most out of the game.

Tournaments

    You can unlock several tournaments on Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist by participating in and winning tournaments and by earning specified amounts of damage points. For instance, unlock the Weekend Tournament by obtaining 100 damage points. Winning the Weekend Tournament seven times will unlock the KC Cup which, in turn, unlocks the Limitations Tournament. Unlock the Sugoroku Tournament by dueling and defeating everyone in Grandpas store, then talking to Grandpa. The Sugoroku Tournament is Grandpas in-store tournament that takes place on the day his store closes. Innovative games are not mere source of entertainment, quite these require some expertise to play and win. The computer created opponents fight against the gamers and conquering them is a big deal. Trophies

    Earn the Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist Championship Trophy by winning each of the unlocked tournaments, which will qualify you for the regional tournament. Win the regional tournament and you will earn a spot in the national tournament. Win the national tournament and you will earn the Championship Trophy, which enables you to participate in the Survivorship Tournament. You can also earn the Qs of K Trophy by accepting and solving Seto Kaibas challenge each Friday at the KC Tower.

Title Screen and Credits

    The title screen on Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist is typically blue, however, if you successfully complete the game, the title screen switches to purple. Change the title screen back to blue by pressing the up arrow twice, the down arrow twice, the left arrow, the right arrow, the left arrow again, the right arrow again, the B button, then the A button. Successfully completing the game will also make the credits appear, which you can repeat by entering the same key sequence used to change the title screen from purple to blue.

Rare Cards

    Enter one of a variety of cheat codes to obtain rare Yu-Gi-Oh! cards on Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist. For instance, enter 40173854 to obtain the Amphibious Bugroth card or 96420087 to obtain the Contract With The Dark Master card. You can also unlock the Insect Armor with Laser Cannon card by entering 03492538 or the Machine Conversion Factory by entering 25769732. Each of the games 1,000 cards can be obtained either by earning them in battle or by entering a cheat code.
