As of 2010, there are more than a dozen separate titles in the "Tony Hawk" video game franchise, in which players take control of skater. Among the most popular titles was "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4," originally released in 2002 for a number of systems, including Sony's PlayStation 2. Among the features in the series is the ability to play as a number of different characters, including people both real and imaginary. In "Pro Skater 4," in additional to such pro skaters as Bob Burnquist and Steve Caballero, players could play as "Star Wars" character Jango Fett.
Instructions
- 1
Earn $9,000. In "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4," players who play in "career" mode earn money by accomplishing certain tasks. Players are awarded $250 for normal goals, $500 for pro goals, $1,200 for pro-specific challenges and $1,500 for completing all gaps. Players are also given $100 per cash icon and $500 for the successful completion of a mini-game.
2Redeem the money for Jango Fett. This money can be redeemed in the in-game store--labeled the "Spend Cash" section--for equipment, as well as for the option to play as additional characters. The ability to play as Jango can be purchased as the in-game store for $9,000.
3Play a level with lots of grinding. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4" has 10 different levels. Because Jango Fett can use his gun only when grinding, attempt to the trick on a level with a lot of surfaces on which to grind, such as Alcatraz.
4Set up Jango for a grind trick. In order to grind in the game, build up some speed for your character and then jump onto grindable objects while holding the "Grind" button--the "Triangle" key. Find an appropriate surface to grind on and put him into position.
5Press "Up", "Down" " and the "Grind" button simultaneously as your character is approaching the grind. This will cause Jango to pull out his gun and discharge a round in a move known as "Quick Draw."
