How to Play the PC Game "Toy Story 2"

In the first "Toy Story" video game, players mainly took control of Woody and traveled through multiple levels that re-created plots from the first film. In the sequel game for the PC, Buzz is the star as players battle Zurg, try to rescue Woody and solve a collection of puzzles.

Insert the PC game disc and follow the installation directions. Restart the computer if the installation prompts you; otherwise, just double-click on the game icon to start the game.

Press "Esc" and select the "Options" menu to load the keyboard layout and change any of input selections. Choose buttons that make it comfortable to play and use the character in the game.

Explore as many parts of levels as possible. In only certain puzzles there is a time limit, so take your time to explore Andy's room and other rooms of the house to find extras and bonuses.

Look for hidden vents up against the walls. Use a laser beam to shoot open the vents. Have Buzz climb through the vents to reach other rooms of the house.

Jump and press "B" to spread Buzz's wings. This will make Buzz glide through the air and make it across far areas.

Press the "V" button to change to a first-person point of view. Use the on-screen laser guide to make accurate laser shots in any area.

Find other "Toy Story 2" characters like Hamm, Rex and Slinky dog for bonus missions and rewards. For example, if you enter Andy's garage, you can talk to RC car and challenge him to a race. If you win the race, you will receive bonus coins.

Watch out for various enemies in levels. These include rats, snakes, lawn mowers and evil toys like planes. Some of these can appear without warning, so be ready to use a laser blast and run away.

Use cheat codes to enhance the game play. When you first start the game, type in "Alakazam" to receive invincibility. In the market level, head past the road block signs and look for a small pit. Drop into the pit to gain an extra life. Exit the pit and repeat until you keep adding lives.
