"Sega Superstars" for the PlayStation 2 gives you a wide selection of Sega games to play using PS 2's EyeToy accessory. These games include "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Samba de Amigo," "NiGHTS Into Dreams," "Super Monkey Ball," "House of the Dead," and more. While these games are fun in and of themselves, some unlockable features can extend your play past normal levels.
Shadow the Hedgehog Storyline
In "Sonic the Hedgehog," you can play as Shadow the Hedgehog, an inverted version of Sonic. To unlock the additional storyline, beat the Sonic game on easy, normal and hard. Once you have beaten the levels, a message will appear on-screen advising you Shadow mode has been unlocked.
Free Mode in Puyo Pop Fever
In "Puyo Pop Fever," players try to clear "puyos" by lining them up after falling from the sky. In "Free Mode," you can play the game without worrying about losing. To unlock this mode, beat all three levels.
Additional NiGHTS Level
In "NiGHTS Into Dreams," players control Nights to fly through rings and collect chips. You can unlock an additional level by beating the easy, medium and hard levels of the game.
Six Additional Songs
In the game "Samba de Amigo," players hit targets in time to the music playing. After a player has completed all of the songs on the hard mode of the game, six additional songs are available for play.
