How to Find Phanpy in "Pokmon Sapphire"

In "Pokmon Sapphire," you can only find Phanpy -- an elephant Pokmon -- in the Safari Zone, which is a game preserve filled with Pokmon. The Safari Zone has its own unique set of rules, which you will need to abide by while searching for Phanpy; you cannot battle Pokmon in the Safari Zone, and you can only use Safari Balls to capture them. You will only be able to find Phanpy in one particular section of the Safari Zone, and it may take awhile for you to find it there, as the Pokmon has a low encounter rate.

Instructions

Travel to Lilycove City and take the east exit out of the city to enter Route 121.

Head northwest on Route 121 to enter the Safari Zone.

Pay $500 and enter the Safari Zone. Ride the Arco Bike north to enter zone 4 of the Safari Zone, which is where you can find Phanpy. You must have the Arco Bike to enter zone 4.
