"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" is a video game for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, Mac and Xbox 360. "GTA: San Andreas" includes a jet pack code that instantly gives you a jet pack to fly around with. The specific buttons you press to get a jet pack differ, since each version uses a different controller. All of the codes are entered in-game, not in a special "Cheat" menu or while the game is paused.
PlayStation 2
While playing, press left, right, L1, L2, R1, R2, up, down, left and right. Use the D-pad to enter the directional commands; the analog sticks won't work. When you're done using the jet pack, press the same button you'd press to get out of a car. Xbox and Xbox 360
If you're playing the game on your original Xbox console, press left, right, the left trigger, the white button, the right trigger, the black button, up, down, left and right. Xbox 360 controllers don't have the white and black buttons. Instead, you'll press the left bumper for the white button and the right bumper for the black button. All other "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" cheats for the Xbox 360 use the same replacement.
PC and Mac
The PC and Mac versions use the same codes. Both have two different codes to give you the jet pack. While you're playing, type "YECGAA" or "ROCKETMAN" without the quotes. They can be either lower or uppercase letters.
Considerations
While wearing the jet pack, you cannot enter buildings. Take the jet pack off to enter buildings like CJ's house or a fast-food restaurant. If you're having trouble with one of the game's timed missions, where you have to get from point A to point B quickly, use the jet pack to quickly fly above any obstacles. While you can use some weapons with the jet pack, you can't switch weapons while using it. To switch weapons, you need to land, remove the jet pack and then switch. Be careful when you're dropping the jet pack; if you're flying high when you take it off, you may receive damage from the fall, possibly killing your character.
