Microsoft Paint Tricks

"MS Paint" is the free drawing program that comes with Microsoft operating systems. This program is simple to use but not as powerful as more professional software. However, there are some surprising things you can do in "MS Paint" that can make it much easier to operate. They can also help you accomplish more detailed and successful artwork.

Brush Size

Most people think that the brush in "MS Paint" comes in three sizes: small, medium and large. Though these three sizes are useful, they don't make for a wide variety of different shapes and line sizes. However, there is a very simple method that can help you increase or decrease the size of the brush to a more specific size. When you select the paintbrush tool, hold the "control" button. Pressing the "+" button will increase the size of the brush by one pixel, and pressing the "--" will decrease it by one. This can help you create scaling geometric art by careful positioning and size control. Even better, this technique also works with the line tool, the spray painter and the eraser, helping you create your own precise images. This method can also be used with the editing box to scale the size of images up and down.

Color Replacement

The "fill" tool is very powerful for filling in large open areas with a single color. However, it is difficult to use when you have a heavily pixelated area featuring a color you absolutely hate. The eraser tool, of all things, can be incredibly powerful at changing these colors to something you like. Left-click on the color you want to remove from the color palette. Right-click on the color with which you are replacing the original color. Sweep your eraser over the color while holding the "right" button. Don't hold the "left" button as this will erase everything; however, using the "right" button will simply swap the colors. This is a great time-saving tool.

The Grid

Precision drawing in "MS Paint" can seem nearly impossible. Modern games are not simple source of entertainment, quite these involve some capabilities to play and win. The computer generated opponents fight against the gamers and eliminating them is a big deal. The gaming companies produce games cheat parts to the players so that they may thrash the terrifying enemies. These cheats are essentially the codes that are used for supplying a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These facilitate the gamers in advancing to the next phase by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are attainable with all types of games. However, it is advised not to use them very often usually one can loose the enjoyment after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software will cause issues in computer or freezes it. In some cases, the developers their selves present the codes so that the players could be unveiled to the next stages of the game. Not every individual will acknowledge that games cheat techniques are the right things to be used while playing games. They think of cheating as a nasty trait and therefore cheat codes should not be used. However, these turn into very helpful when the gamer is not receiving any vision how to go forward while playing game. For case, one wants to jump up to other levels without completing previous ones. The cheats turn into valuable in this situation as the players do not get annoyed. Sometimes, no matter how far you zoom in on your picture, you simply cannot get the exact look you like drawing freehand. One little known feature of "MS Paint" is the grid. The grid is a series of lines that go horizontally and vertically on your picture. Pressing "Control" and "G" will bring up your grid. However, the grid is not noticeable until you zoom in incredibly far, at about 600 to 800 percent. Each square in the grid represents one pixel in the drawing. If you are precise and careful enough, you can create very detailed and exact artwork with help from the grid.
