"The Conquerors" is the first expansion to "Age of Empires II: Age of Kings." It introduced 10 new units, five new civilizations, 7 new universal technologies, numerous civilization-specific technologies and a handful of AI upgrades. The Petard is a single-use siege weapon; it explodes when it hits something, so it proves to be not worth the cost. Spanish missionaries are mounted monks. They can't carry relics, but their movement speed makes them excellent at converting enemy units. Conquistadors are Spanish-only units that have a powerful attack that proves effective at close range, but is highly inaccurate from a distance. Turtle ships are Korean naval units.
