How to Get to the Secret Room in Nuketown

In the first-person shooter video game Call of Duty: Black Ops, players often aim their weapons to find glitches and additional explorable areas. In the computer version of the game, you can see the vast playing map in the "secret room" of Nuketown.

Instructions

Alter the "Players" Folder

    1

Open a text editor program such as Windows Notepad.

    2

Open the "Program Files" folder under "Local" disk in the "Computer" folder. Find the Activision folder and click the folder "Call of Duty Black Ops."

    3

Access the "Players" folder and open the "Config.cfg" file.

    4

Press the "Control" and "F" keys to open a search bar for the document. Search for "Seta Monkey." Change the text value of "Seta Monkeytoy" from "1" to zero.

    5

Save the file, right-click the file in folder and click "Properties." Then change the settings to "Read Only."

    6

Run the game "Call of Duty: Black Ops" on your computer.

Enter the Secret Room

    7

Press the "tilde" key near the upper left corner of your keyboard at the "Main" menu to open a cheat dialog box.

    8

Type "/ufo," which will allow your Call of Duty character to levitate. Press "Enter" to run the cheat code.

    9

    Enter the Nuketown multiplayer map.

    10

Travel to the second floor of Woodss house -- both the inner and exterior stairways lead to same room. Enter the bedroom with a bunk bed and end table.

    11

Hover into the door frame, face the corner nearest the bunk bed and move straight into the secret room.
