"Dragon Quest 8" is a role-playing game (RPG) developed and distributed for the PlayStation 2 by Square Enix. In "Dragon Quest 8," alchemy is used to create and enhance useful in game items. The time it takes for an item to be created is based on the number of steps forward your character takes. To speed up item creation time, run in place by directing your character toward a house or a wall. Your character will not move forward, and so will not get into any battles, but will continue to process the item being created. It should take about two minutes running in place to create any item.
Heavenly King Sword
The Heavenly King Sword is the most powerful sword in the game. To create this item, you must use the alchemy pot. Combine a Rusty Old Sword, Gospel Ring and Slime crown. Rusty Old Sword items are commonly found items in the game and found in most early dungeons. To find a Slime Crown, defeat go behind the Bar in Tyran Gully and look in the barrels. Inside you will find a Slime Crown. You can earn a Gospel Ring by locating and defeating all 295 special monsters scattered around the game world. After they have been defeated open the "Defeated Monster List." A sound effect will play, telling you all the monsters have been defeated. The Gospel Ring will now be inside your items bag.
