"Spongebob Squarepants" is an animated television show that first aired in 1999 and is still in production as of 2011. In 2006, the platform-adventure video game "Spongebob Squarepants: Creature from the Krusty Krab" was released for Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, Wii, DS and PS2. The PS2 version of the game had a variety of cheats that unlocked new levels, costumes, vehicles and weapons.
How to Enter Cheats
Choose "Extras" from the main menu and then select the "Enter Codes" option to arrive at the Extras menu. From here, you can enter any cheat code for the game. Once your code is entered, select "Activate Bonus Items" from the Extras menu and your cheat will take effect.
Vehicles
Enter the code "HOTROD" to unlock a bonus vehicle for the Diesel Dreaming level or use "SPACE" for a bonus ship to be used in Rocket Rodeo. Input "ROCKET" to use a different rocket with Patrick in the Hypnotic Highway level. The code "BUNRUN" unlocks Patrick's Purple Rocket. You can use a Plankton hovercraft in this game, but if you enter the cheat code "HOVER" you unlock an alternative version.
Character Costumes
Enter the code "ROBOT" to play as Astronaut Plankton in Revenge of the Giant Plankton level. The "SPONGE" cheat code unlocks Punk Spongebob for the Diesel Dreaming level. Play as Patrick dressed as a pirate in the Rooftop Rumble level by entering "PIRATE." Input "PATRCIK" to dress Patrick in a tux for Starfish Man to the Rescue. Use the codes "KRABBY" and "BONES" to unlock Skeleton Spongebob and Skeleton Patrick respectively.
Other Cheat Codes
Use the "VIGOR" code for unlimited health in platform levels and "GASSY" for an endless supply of fuel in any flying level. The cheat code "DUCKGUN" unlocks the Squeaky Duck Gun for Spongebob. Enter "ROCFISH" for 30,000 Z-coins. Input the "GUDGEON" cheat to unlock every level and "PORKPIE" for every bonus game.
Unlockable Content
Play the Hypnotic Highway level and look for pink Sleepy Seeds; find 27 of these and you can play as Patrick in the same level. Gather the 27 green Sleepy seeds in Hypnotic Highway and the next time you take on this level, you can play as Plankton.
