The Nintendo 64 was Nintendo's third major home console release for the international market. With the release of the Nintendo 64, several different cheat engines were released to tweak and exploit all of the available games. The GameShark system allows players to browse through a menu of preset cheats for popular games and enable or disable them before launching the game.

Turn off your Nintendo 64 and put the GameShark cartridge into the cartridge slot. The latest games are not only source of entertainment, rather these require some abilities to play and win. The computer generated enemies fight against the players and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies offer games cheat systems to the players so that they could thrash the frightening enemies. These cheats are basically the codes that are used for offering a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These support the gamers in advancing to the next stage by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are accessible with all types of games. Nevertheless, it is advised not to use them very quite often usually one can loose the pleasure once playing for sometime. These can be used when a software factors issues in computer or freezes it. In some cases, the developers themselves offer the codes so that the players could be released to the next levels of the game. Not every individual will agree that games cheat systems are the right things to be used while playing games. They consider cheating as a horrific trait and hence cheat codes should not be used. However, these become very helpful when the gamer is not becoming any hint how to go in advance while playing game. For example, one wants to jump up to other levels without completing previous ones. The cheats turn into very helpful in this case as the players do not get annoyed. Then place the game you wish to play into the slot on top of the GameShark.
2Power on the system and use the "Down" button to navigate to the "Select Cheat Codes" option. Press the "A" button to enter the cheat code menu.
3Navigate to the game you are about to play. Press the "A" button to enter the code menu for that game.
4Select the cheats and exploits you wish to activate with the GameShark and enable them with the "A" button. You can add new cheats by entering the code into the "Add Cheat" section.
5Return to the main menu and select the "Start Game With Selected Codes" button to play the game with the cheats you have installed.
