"God of War II," like its predecessor, is a brutal action-adventure game in which you play as the Spartan Kratos as he sets out to take vengeance on the gods who have ousted him from Olympus. Fortunately, there are cheat codes you can use for God of War II. However, you will need a GameShark Media Player for the PlayStation 2 in order to take advantage of these codes.
MasterCode
The MasterCode is the first code that must be entered into your GameShark and allows all other cheat codes to be entered. The MasterCode for "God of War II" is "7609D580 00000000/98319CF2 78267FB5." The backslashes indicate that a new line of code should begin.
Health
If you're tired of getting killed, you'll appreciate this cheat code, which gives you the benefit of infinite health: "760ED380 00000000/283BF1E6 8B13AC3A/283BF1E9 6413ACA5." Now you can feel free to get hit as much as you like.
Magic
If you find yourself repeatedly running out of magic, use this cheat code to acquire an infinite supply of magic: "76083CE0 00000000/2829B8CF 4F837A65." You can now use your favorite spells as often as you like.
Red Orbs
Red Orbs allow you to level up your combat and magic skills. To acquire an infinite number of these, use the code "76072B60 00000000/286B236D 0C363E9B." This way you can master all of your skills as early in the game as you like.
Rage of the Titans
To be able to stay in Rage of the Titans mode for as long as you like, use the code "76024540 00000000/2829B8A5 E1BF7A65." Activating Rage of the Titans allows you to instantly break free from a Gorgon's petrifying gaze or a Nymph's webbing and, for as long as this mode is active, you can't be knocked down and your combat moves are enhanced.
Amulet of the Fates
After inputting the cheat code "760F3D00 00000000/D828A157 0CA5EF3E/2829B837 E1BF7A65/1872A1B5 0CA57AB1," you can instantly recharge the Amulet of Fates, which slows down time for you, by simultaneously pressing the "L1" and "R1" buttons on your controller.
Moves, Power-Ups and Urns
In order to unlock all urns, moves and power-ups, use the code "760ADBA0 00000000/2829B86F 948C883E." While unlocking all of the game's moves will make Kratos more deadly in combat, the power-ups will increase his health and magic meters, and urns will provide a number of different effects--from increasing the value of red orbs to allowing Kratos' attacks to turn enemies into stone.
