Originally released on Sept. 30, 1997 for the PC, Panzer General II is a strategic and historical war game. Panzer General II features five distinct single-player campaigns and over 25 missions to test your skills as the leader of your own army. Up to four players can play against one another and compete for bragging rights in this war simulation game designed by SSI and Glen Summers. Panzer General II has been given a score of 8.3 out of 10 by GameSpot.

Gaining Prestige Points

Prestige Points are accumulated through regular game play of Panzer General II. These Prestige Points can be used later on to purchase new and improved units for your army, but it can be rather time consuming to accumulate enough for every unit in the game. Thankfully there are some simple tips and tricks you can use to maximize the amount of Prestige Points you gain for each victory.

Never claim your last victory objective until you see the notice saying "Brilliant Victory: Last Turn." When you do see this, make sure to save your game immediately. If you don't receive a valuable prototype unit, simply reload your game and complete the objective again. Finding the right prototype unit through this method can actually save you quite a bit of Prestige Points.

There is also a method that can be used to obtain an unlimited amount of Prestige Points. Once you have cleared a city of all enemy units, place one of your own inside that city. The latest games are not only source of entertainment, instead these require some knowledge to play and win. The computer created enemies fight against the gamers and overcoming them is a big deal. The gaming companies offer games cheat systems to the players so that they may thrash the violent enemies. These cheats are generally the codes that are used for allowing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These help the gamers in progressing to the next level by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are offered with all types of games. Even so, it is advised not to use them very frequently usually one can loose the pleasure just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software causes complications in computer or freezes it. In some scenarios, the developers on their own deliver the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next stages of the game. Not every person will agree that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They look at cheating as a horrific trait and hence cheat codes should not be used. However, these turn into very helpful when the gamer is not becoming any idea how to go forward while playing game. Play As Both Sides

Select the option "Play By Email" at the Main Menu of Panzer General II and save your game as soon as it starts. Reload your saved game and you will now be able to play as both sides in the war.

Artillery Tips

Artillery units normally take a long time to reload between shots, but there is a glitch you can take advantage of in order to speed up the process. After you've placed your artillery and it has fired off the first round, start to buy another unit. When given the option to replace your new unit, double-click on your originally artillery unit to replace it. It will now be fully loaded and ready to fire again.
