How to Get a Special Celebi Using Cheats in "SoulSilver"

The Pokemon franchise is a wildly popular and familiar game spanning several systems. One of the newer games, "Pokemon SoulSilver," is an updated remake of the Game Boy classic "Pokemon Silver." Featuring new areas, Pokemon and improved graphics, the version is a way to add classic Pokemon to your roster. One Pokemon, the legendary Celebi, still remains elusive without the aid of a special event or Action Replay device.

Instructions

Adding the Code to Action Replay

Open the Action Replay program on your personal computer.

Drag the "Pokemon SoulSilver" folder to the "My Codelists" menu.

Right-click the game and select "Add New Cheat."

Rename the cheat name to "Special Event Celebi."

Enter the following code into the code screen and click "Okay":

Click and drag "Pokemon SoulSilver" to the "Nintendo DS" menu. This will overwrite the previous file.

Update your Action Replay cartridge by connecting it to your computer with a USB cord. Disconnect the game when it is finished updating.

Connect "Pokemon SoulSilver" to your Action Replay cartridge and put it into your Nintendo DS.

Tap the green asterisk button on the lower left corner of the bottom screen with your stylus.

Press "A" to turn the "Special Event Celebi" code on.

Tap the "Start" button on the bottom screen with your stylus.

Continue your game of "Pokemon SoulSilver" by selecting "Continue" from the main menu.

Place a weak Pokemon that you do not use into the top spot of your roster.

Press the left and right shoulder buttons at the same time to activate the code. Your first Pokemon will now be the Special Event Celebi.
