How to Add New Games on the Game Shark

The Game Shark is a device that allows you to use cheat codes for games on older systems such as the Nintendo 64. These cheat codes allow you to make it easier to beat games by giving you advantages that you would normally not have. With new games coming out all the time, the Game Shark allows you to add new games and new codes so you can always have these advantages.

Instructions

Select the "Select Cheat Codes" option to enter the "Select Cheat Codes" menu.

Highlight the "New Game" option found at the top of the list. Press the "A" button to select it.

Select "New Game" from the "New Game Edit" screen. When the text entry box appears, enter the name of the new game (use the directional pad to highlight different letters and use the "A" button to select a letter).

Press the "B" button after entering in the name of the new game, then press the "A" button to save the changes you made.

Choose the "Select Cheat Codes" option to enter the "Select Cheat Codes" menu, then highlight and select the game you just added.

Choose the "New Code" option. Select "New Code Description" to bring up a text box. Enter a description for the code (such as "Infinite Lives" for a code that gives you infinite lives).

Press the "B" button after you have entered the code description, then highlight and select the "Code Entry" box. Enter the appropriate code, then press the "B" button. More modern games are not simple source of entertainment, rather these need some capabilities to play and win. They think of cheating as a dreadful trait and consequently cheat codes should not be used. However, these turn into very helpful when the gamer is not receiving any hint how to go ahead while playing game. For instance, one wants to jump up to other levels without completing previous ones. The cheats come to be very helpful in this circumstance as the players do not get irritated. Press the "A" button to save the new code.
