With the release of "Rock Band 2" in December 2008, the popular video game became available to PlayStation 2 (PS2) owners. "Rock Band 2" offers 84 different rock songs, as well as the option to download 20 more and import music from the original "Rock Band" game. However, not all song titles are available instantly and must be unlocked as the player successfully completes song titles. Entering a simple code allows PS2 users immediate access to the game's entire song selection.
Instructions

Insert the "Rock Band 2" disc into the PlayStation 2 game console and allow the game to load.
2Use the strummer button on your guitar to highlight "Extras" from the main menu and press the green fret button to select this option.
3Highlight the "Game Modifier" option and select by pressing the green fret button.
4Enter the unlock code by pressing the colored fret buttons in the specified order. Press red, yellow, blue, red, red, blue, blue, red, yellow and blue fret buttons in sequence.
5Access any of the available song titles for play. Once the code is activated, the game cannot be saved and activation is required each time the game is restarted.
