The sixth installment of the long-running Mortal Kombat franchise, Mortal Kombat: Deception was praised as best fighting game of 2004 by GameSpot. Designed to be an unpredictable fighting game by series co-creator Ed Boon, the special Kollector's Edition released for the Xbox includes two finishing "Fatality" moves used to kill an opponent and one "Hara-Kiri" suicide move. Each character has their own unique cheat code.
'Fatality' Code
A "Fatality" move can only be used after the announcer yells: "Finish Him!" when your opponent is dazed and the fight is drawing to a close. You'll need to be positioned in the right place in order to perform the "Fatality." "Close" means one step from you opponent, "sweep" means two steps from your opponent and "far" means five or six steps from your opponent, usually at the end of the arena. When you're standing in the correct position, press the "L" trigger to enter the "Fatality" stance, then enter the code.
