How to Get Mew Without HM Surf on

"Pokemon Fire Red" is a remake of the original Pokemon game, "Pokemon Red." In the original game, it was possible to find and capture a rare Pokemon known as Mew. This has been removed from "Pokemon Fire Red," however it is still possible to acquire the Pokemon through a trade. You must first find and capture a Mew in "Pokemon Emerald." This would normally require you to cross a large body of water, which can be problematic if you don't have the HM Surf. By using the Gameshark, however, you can teleport to the island instead.

Instructions

    1

Turn on "Pokemon Emerald" and enter the Gameshark code "19C67C656689

94318A10E753." This will warp you to the "Far Away Island."

    2

Walk through the grass until you see Mew. Attempt to fight her. She may run away at first, but this is normal. Keep persuing her and eventually you will be able to battle. Once Mew's health is low, throw a Pokeball to capture her.

    3

Enter the Gameshark code "19C67C656689 12B9BF13D649" to warp back to Mauville City. Enter the Pokemon Center and go up the stairs on the left side of the building.

    4

Turn on your second Game Boy Advance and begin to play "Pokemon Fire Red." Navigate to a Pokemon Center and go up the stairs on the left.

    5

Plug the link cable into both Game Boy Advances. Talk to the character standing behind the desk. She will ask you if you would like to trade. Select "Yes" on both Game Boy Advances.

    6

Enter the "Union Room" and talk to the trainer. The latest games are not only source of entertainment, instead these will need some skills to play and win. The computer created enemies fight against the gamers and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies provide games cheat systems to the players so that they may thrash the harmful enemies. These cheats are quite simply the codes that are used for allowing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These support the gamers in growing to the next level by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are accessible with all types of games. Nonetheless, it is advised not to use them very quite often otherwise one can loose the enjoyment after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software leads to concerns in computer or freezes it. In some scenarios, the developers on their own supply the codes so that the players could be introduced to the next grades of the game. Not every individual will acknowledge that games cheat methods are the right things to be used while playing games. They think about cheating as a nasty trait and hence cheat codes should not be used. However, these turn into very helpful when the gamer is not having any idea how to go ahead while playing game. For case, one wants to jump up to other stages without filling out previous ones. The cheats turn into valuable in this situation as the players do not get disappointed. This will start the trading process. Select Mew from "Pokemon Emerald" and trade it to "Pokemon Fire Red."

    7

Exit the trading room once the Pokemon has been swapped. Save your game. You will now have Mew.
