"Sonic Riders" is a racing video game that came out in February 2006 for Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. "Sonic Riders" features Sonic the Hedgehog and other characters from Sonic's previous games. Players can compete in single player and multiplayer modes on several different tracks, and cheats are available to help unlock special items, modes and characters.

Gear

You can only unlock Extreme gear special items by completing certain tasks in "Sonic Riders." To get the Blue Star II, finish the Heroes story mode. Finishing the Heroes story mode will also unlock Darkness gear, Smile gear and Temptation gear. Players who finish the Babylon story mode in "Sonic Riders" unlock the Egg Rider and Magic Carpet gear. Completing every mission in the game unlocks Hang On, Opa Opa, Super Hang On, and The Crazy gear. To unlock the Chaos Emerald gear, finish and obtain a rank of gold on all "Sonic Riders" missions.

Modes

Different modes are not available at the beginning of the game and must be unlocked in order for them to appear as menu options. To get Mission mode and Babylon story mode, beat the Heroes story mode, which does appear initially. Once Mission mode is unlocked, you can find different missions. Storm's missions will appear once you unlock Mission mode, but Wave's missions are not unlocked until you have beaten either the Red Canyon or Night Chase stage in the Babylon story. Unlock Jet's missions by beating both Wave and Storm's missions and also getting the two secret Sega tracks in "Sonic Riders."

Tracks

New tracks are unlocked once you reach specific goals in the game. Players who beat all of Babylon story mode unlock the Babylon Guardian and Digital Dimension tracks. Beating the Babylon Cup and getting the gold emblem unlocks the Sega Illusion track, while the Sega Carnival track is unlocked by beating the Heroes cup with a gold emblem.

Characters

You must unlock some characters in "Sonic Riders" before you can play them. More modern games are not only reference of entertainment, alternatively these require some abilities to play and win. The computer generated enemies fight against the players and conquering them is a big deal. The gaming companies supply games cheat parts to the players so that they might thrash the threatening enemies. These cheats are basically the codes that are used for providing a slip to the computer so that the player could win the game. These help the gamers in progressing to the next step by just pressing a few keys. Cheat codes are attainable with all kinds of games. Even so, it is advised not to use them very often otherwise one can loose the excitement just after playing for sometime. These can be used when a software factors problems in computer or freezes it. In some situations, the developers their selves offer the codes so that the players could be launched to the next levels of the game. Not every individual will recognize that games cheat systems are the right things to be used while playing games. They think of cheating as a nasty trait and consequently cheat codes should not be used. However, these come to be very helpful when the gamer is not getting any idea how to go ahead while playing game. For instance, one wants to jump up to other grades without finishing previous ones. The cheats turn into very helpful in this scenario as the players do not get frustrated. Unlock AiAi, Ulala and Night by beating all of Jet, Wave, and Storm's missions in Mission mode. Once Heroes story mode is beaten, Cream the Rabbit, Rogue the Bat, and Shadow the Hedgehog are all unlocked. Beating Rogue's story in Babylon story mode unlocks Eggman, while Super Sonic is unlocked by getting every gold emblem possible in Mission mode. Gamers who log at least 20 hours of play unlock E-10000G, while 50 hours of game play must be logged to unlock E-10000R.
