How to Get Grand Theft Auto IV Cheats

Over the past decade, the Grand Theft Auto franchise has redefined console gaming. Its expansive environments, fluid gameplay and gritty content make it attractive to young gamers and adults alike. The newest installment in the series, Grand Theft Auto IV, debuted early in 2008 to rave reviews. If you're stuck on a difficult mission or are just an impatient gamer, there are loads of cheats you can use to make quick work of the game.

Instructions

Head to Gamespot and check out their complete Grand Theft Auto IV game guide. It's got all the information you need to finish the game's main missions and become king of the Liberty City streets (see Resources below).

Cruise over to IGN's GTA IV page to get your hands on another game guide. Although one's usually enough to get the job done, having a second one handy gives you another reference in case you get lost or can't figure out one's instructions (see Resources below).

Read through Gamespot's list of cell phone cheats. There are about two dozen different numbers you can punch into Niko's phone, and each one changes the game in a unique way.

Browse through the different user-created GTA IV walkthroughs and strategy guides posted at the bottom of Gamespot's page. These often go into more detail than the official game guides and can help you tackle specific missions.

Check out the IGN GTA IV Game Wiki, where users can upload their own hints, tips and cheats and share them with other gamers. This is a great place to get obscure information and unorthodox strategies (see Resources below).

How to Use Game Shark for PlayStation 2

The GameShark 2 provides the same functionality as earlier versions of the GameShark updated for use on the PlayStation 2. The GameShark 2 disc comes preloaded with thousands of codes and an Auto Cheat Mode that automatically finds cheats for whatever game you insert. It also features an Expert Cheat Mode that lets you add new games and cheats, saves them to your memory card automatically and allows you to reuse them anytime.

Instructions

Plug a PlayStation 2 controller into controller slot 1.

Insert a memory card into memory card slot 1.

Put the GameShark 2 disc into the console.

Turn on the console or press the reset button if the system is already on already on.

Select the "Auto Cheat Mode" option on the main menu. The system will eject the GameShark disc. Remove it and insert the game you want to play. If cheats are available, the Auto Cheat Mode menu will appear.

Press the "left" and "right" buttons on the controller's directional pad to select a cheat category. Use the "up" and "down" buttons to scroll through the cheats in each section.

Press the "X" button to activate the highlighted cheat. Press the "X" button on a cheat that's already activated to deactivate it.

Press the "start" button once all desired cheats have been activated to exit the menu and begin the game.

Select the "Expert Cheat Mode" option on the main menu.

Press the up and down buttons on the directional pad to scroll through games one at a time. Use the "R1" button to skip to the games beginning with the next letter in the alphabet and the "L1" button to skip to the previous letter.

Press "right" on the directional pad to view the list of cheats for the highlighted game. Press "up" and "down" to scroll through cheats and "X" to activate or deactivate them.

Press "start" when all desired cheats have been activated and follow the onscreen instructions to begin your game.

Press "circle" while on the All Games menu in Expert Cheat Mode.

Select the "Add" option on the menu.

Enter the name of the game you want to add using the onscreen keyboard. Highlight the "Enter" key and press "X" when finished.

Select the game you want to add cheats to in the All Games menu and press "right."

Press "circle" when viewing the list of cheats. Select "Add" on the menu.

Enter a description of the cheat you plan to add on the keyboard. Select "Enter" when finished.

Highlight the game you want to add a code for. Press "right."

Select the cheat description that you want to add a code to. Press "right" again.

Press "circle" and select the "Add" option.

Enter the code on the keyboard. Only enter one line of a multi-line code at a time. Select "Enter" when finished.

Repeat the steps above to add additional lines.

Tricks for "Crazy Taxi 3"

"Crazy Taxi 3" is a fast-paced and quirky racing game that has you taking cab customers all over the city. You earn extra cash for doing crazy tricks with passengers in the car and for getting them to their destination quickly. This game was a big hit in the arcades and the transition to the Xbox, and later the PC, gave players the chance to drive crazy from the comfort of their own home.

Speed is what "Crazy Taxi 3" is all about. Getting the customers you pick up to their destination on time is crucial. To increase your speed, know the city and all its shortcuts. The game provides you with an arrow to help you get to the destination, but it might not be the speediest way there.

Mix up the customers you get, mixing those with long runs and those with short runs. This will help you earn extra cash and get extra time every time you drop off a customer. Also, avoid picking up too many customers at one time. The max you can hold is four customers at a time, so picking up three to four at once may lead you all over town with no time to get there.

Use crazy moves to get a lot of combos. This will earn you extra money from the customer. Driving through traffic without hitting anything and drifting through turns will net you extra combo points. Also, you should always use the crazy stop when dropping off a customer. The crazy stop is used by holding the reverse and brake buttons at the same time, making you come to a very quick stop.

"Crazy Taxi 3" has a large amount of unlockable content that can make the game more fun. You can unlock the carriage, stroller and bike by finishing level two of Crazy X Mode. You can unlock all the available drivers in the game by finishing level S-S of Crazy X Mode, and unlock all the maps if you finish level one in Crazy X Mode. If you complete level three of Crazy X Mode, you will unlock Another Day Mode, which will place customers in random places on the map.

How to Use Private Match to Increase in "Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2"

"Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" uses a ranking system to match players of equal skill levels against each other while serving as a basis for unlocking better equipment. Players gains "XP," short for experience points, for getting kills, planting bombs and kill streaks, among a myriad of other actions within online game play. As the XP accumulates, your rank gradually increases. Private matches can rapidly increase XP by allowing two or more cooperative "enemies" to control game play and achieve high point value actions that would normally be difficult to achieve in a normal online match.

Instructions

Select "Private Match" from the COD MW2 multi-player dashboard.

Press the dashboard button on your Xbox controller. This is the big round button at the center of the controller.

Toggle down to the second menu option titled "Friends." Again, toggle down to your desired online friend, press the "X" button and choose "invite" to invite the player into your private match. Press the "B" button to leave the dashboard and return to the Private Match screen.

Choose "Game Type" from the private match dashboard and select "Domination."

Press the select arrow on your Xbox controller (left of the dashboard button), to adjust the game settings. Select "Unlimited" for score and kills, disable Killcam and "Allow" for the "Join Session in Progress setting. Press the "X" button to save the settings, returning you to the private match dashboard.

Select "Start Match," ensuring both players are on the same team. Once the match counts down to zero and each player is able to walk around, player one presses the dashboard button on his controller. Once on the dashboard, toggle down to "Friends" and press the "X" button when player two's gamer tag is selected. When player two's profile area opens, toggle down to the "Join Session in Progress" link and press "X." At this point, the host will migrate to player two and a new count down will begin.

End the game once the host migration count down ends. This step is done by player two by pressing the "Start" button and selecting "End Game." When both players are returned to the private match lobby, toggle over the game type section, press "X" and toggle over (without pressing "X") the "Free For All" game type. Remain there while player one checks the private match dashboard to confirm the game countdown timer has begun.

Allow the countdown timer to expire and the special game mode will start. Players may join in randomly. Continue playing the match for as long as desired to rack up a large amount of XP.

Communicate with the other team that a tactical nuke needs to be dropped when you are ready to end the game, Instruct a player to get 25 kills in a row without being killed to unlock the nuke. That player presses the "Up" arrow on their controller and presses "X" to drop the nuke.

The Directions for "GameShark 2"

Any serious video gamer knows the name "Game Shark." Game Shark, simply stated, is for cheaters. Its developers refer to it as a "game enhancer," but a Game Shark uses codes to unlock the parts of video games that aren't usually available. The Game Shark 2 was specifically released for the PlayStation 2 and came preloaded with thousands of codes for most PS2 titles, though you could also connect to the Internet to get more cheats.

Instructions

Connect a memory card to your PS2 console before you turn on the system and make sure that at least one controller is connected. Turn on the PS2 and insert the Game Shark 2 disc into the drive, and then reset the system to launch the program. Press "X" on the controller to skip the intro movie.

Press up and down on the directional pad to select items in the menu. Game Shark 2 has five main menu options: Start Game, which loads a PS2 game without cheats; Auto Cheat Mode, which loads the most popular cheats for your game; Expert Cheat Mode, which shows you a list of all known and available cheats and asks you to choose which cheats to use; Memory Manager and Gamesaves that gives you access to saved games from Game Shark 2 loads; and Online Update, which connects to the Internet on broadband-capable PS2 systems to find new cheats.

Highlight "Auto Cheat Mode" and press "X" to launch a game with cheats. Replace the Game Shark 2 disc with the game you wish to play and press "X." If the game doesn't have any listed cheats, Game Shark 2 will prompt you; otherwise the game will load to a cheat menu.

Press left and right on the directional pad to browse through the available cheats. The categories displayed are different for each game, but cheats for a "Grand Theft Auto" game might be sorted into "Health," "Weapons" and "Money." Press "X" to turn a cheat on or off. Each cheat you add changes the game's difficulty meter. Press "Start" on the controller to launch the game with the selected cheats.
